Blue Lotus

is one of the most significant plants used since the times of ancient Egypt (or before) especially for its believed reputation to foresee one's future. It is also believed that the God of this beautiful flower was Neferte, who gave it to the Egyptian Sun God Ra to ease the pain of his aging and sick body and it became an important and sacred offering between Egyptian rulers.

The portrait of Tutankhamun shows that his head was born from a blue water lily flower. Ancient Egyptian women often wore Blue Water Lily buds as fashionable hair ornaments, and dead bodies were also decorated with Blue Lotus.
